Antimicrobial Prolen® Bodyfresh, Prolen® Siltex and Prolen® Zen

Dear customers, in these hard times we are focusing on the production of Prolen®Siltex, Prolen®Bodyfresh and Prolen® Zen to provide the antimicrobial protection to your products. Prolen®Siltex, Prolen®Bodyfresh, Prolen® Zen are a special polypropylene yarns treated with a permanent antimicrobial additives, based on silver and zinc ions,

Some of the results of our antimicrobial yarns Prolen®:

The antibacterial properties  are confirmed by laboratory tests according to the AATCC TM 100: 2012 standard (tested for Escherichia Coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Staphylococcus aureus > 99% reduction).

The antiviral properties are confirmed by test protocol according to ISO 18184: 2019 (tested against Influenza A virus subtype H1N1 with reduction > 99% and coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 with reduction > 99%).

The antifungal properties are confirmed by test protocol according to AATCC 30 standard (tested against Aspergillus Niger with no growth).

All Prolen® yarns are Standard 100 by Oekotex®, class 1, Appendix 6 certified.

Our yarns can be used in facemasks, clean room textiles, bed linen, medical workwear and PPE. The silver and zinc ions modification are permanent and will not wash out. The textiles made of Prolen®Siltex, Prolen®Bodyfresh and Prolen® Zen are reusable with low environmental impact comparing to disposale PPE.
